Was it worth it at least to see the shout out you got from me?

It was. :)

I dig it. Agreed depending on the arrangement it could be pretty solid. If not an album track maybe an iTunes exclusive or something.

Seriously.

At your job you've never sent out an email with a typo? Come on.

Honestly the mistakes (if they're not completely ridiculous) make the experience more fun/unique to me. Rather than having them act like robots up on stage...

None of Ed's flubs in Moline were particularly conspicuous -- just a word here or there, and he quickly recovered from all of them. That sort of thing is understandable to me and doesn't detract from my enjoyment of a performance. I was thankful that he had the good sense to extend the intro to "Around the Bend" and wait for someone to prompt him, rather than just mumble incoherently into the mic.

That said, when he goes totally blank and just forgets entire verses, it is tough to sit through. I can't imagine that ever feeling "special" to me. It's definitely understandable that it happens sometimes, though.

So I guess it comes down to...

1. Long time artists with a huge catalog that mix it up and have so much material that sometimes they forget it.

2. Hangers on who stick around forever and only have a few hits that they play every single night and mail it in.

3. Human beings who are perfect.

Take your pick. I'll take #1. As pretty much all of us would, I suspect.

When did this turn into a Lament and Strat appreciation thread? Those are the only 2 who have a chance to make this claim.

For a while Ed's lyrical flubs were starting to really get to me, but I will say it definitely seems he has much improved in recent months.

No one is bashing this show. I know a lot of RM gets really confused about this, but "Absence of Praise/Celebration" is not the same as "Bashing/Hating." I appreciate the none-too-thinly veiled shot at me though. Show me the post where I bashed this specific show again?

This show was in no way better than what could have been the worst one of 50 shows by some other band. I hope you jamiholics are happy with your mediocre performance of what may or may not even be this band's best work.

Let's make a list of bands that would have performed No Code in sequence better than Pearl Jam.
