After being underwhelmed by Thurston's post-SY records to date (even Ranaldo's haven't been as essential as I'd hoped), this is refreshingly solid.

Any fans of mid-00s Sonic Youth would find this very enjoyable, I'd imagine.

I can't say enough good things about Thurston's record, probably my favourite album all year.

Saw him last night....Wow...

It was as intense and beautiful as SY best moments...Really good. It shocked me to see how much of SY this band had.

Steve Shelly was ill, but the guy replacing him did a great job.

Still impressive show. They have a very nice chemistry that reminds you of the best parts of SY.

And of course, i miss them so much.

Sounds like he had a lot of fun doing it; its not something new or groundbreaking at all but the dinamics are pretty much what i love about SY and every song from the album here is a keeper.

Feels like a lost SY record.
