Rodgers was asked about attending the Pearl Jam concert Monday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, which was attended by a handful of Packers' players.

"Unbelievable show," Rodgers said. "It was amazing. I have been a big fan for a long time. I actually saw them in '09 or '10 in San Diego with Ben Harper. Those are two of my guitar inspirations there."

Rodgers said he met Eddie Vedder for the first time before Monday's show. Rodgers said Vedder does have a Packers stock certificate.

Rodgers said he actually requested the song "Society," because it was the second song Rodgers learned to play on the guitar. But that song was not on the playlist that night, so Vedder played another track ("Setting Forth") from the film "Into the Wild" and gave a shout-out to Rodgers.

I remember Chicago 98 was like a 2.5 hour show and that was considered epic then, now it would be a standard show.

Chicago 98 wasn't epic because it was long (and it wasn't even as long as their previous Chicago show), it was epic because they played out of their collective minds. I saw these guys probably 30 times from 1995-2013, and it's very possible Chicago 98 was the single best performance I've even seen them put forth. They were just on fire that whole night.

Is this the United Center show? If so the boot is great.

I wonder if the full album thing had anything to do with the shows being the closest two to Chicago. Lots of fan club members, close to home for Edward. Thoughts? If they were just doing it in small towns they would have picked Lincoln and Moline.

I would think there are about the same number of ten club members at every show since the ten club seats always sell out. 10% of the venue? I think Ed and the band are just feeling really good about playing what they want to and still having a solid response from the crowd.

I saw 3 shows in 1998 and I enjoyed my 1996, 2000 and 2003 shows better. There was a ferocity in 1998 they lost in later tours, but those shows didn't connect with me the same way.

Tix from the general TM sale would end up in the hands of Fan Club members at a higher rate near a city like Chicago due to all the fan club members that live there. So yes, a higher chance that the crowd near Chicago would be more full of Fan Club members.

I have never been particularly disappointed or blown away at any individual show or during any specific year, save for a few times. To me it's just always a fantastic, amazing time. If anything is particularly unique, to me it's been more about the venue, the people near me in the crowd, or how old I was at the time...not necessarily the performance of the band.

For example I went to Benaroya...you knew you were going to get something different there. And the Gorge and the Showbox...not your typical arena show, so those stand out. And the three times I saw them in high school...that was before they went away from the entire floor being GA so it was a different vibe (and they were all still in their 30's).

The one thing that stands out to me most in terms of performance is that one night in Vancouver BC, Mike was absolutely S-H-R-E-D-D-I-N-G. That said I couldn't tell you what year it was because I've seen them in that city 3 times. Couldn't even tell you exactly which songs they played that night but it was like a 3-hour Mike soloing his ass off show and I probably just had my jaw dropped the whole time.

Check that. Save for a *couple* times that I've been blown away...just a couple. I'll actually say I've never been particularly disappointed.

Other than that, I know what I want and PJ delivers consistently. It's more being blown away every time and I've been extra blown away a couple times. Nothing like a PJ show.
