On viewing this trailer, my brother complained that the first Avengers was mostly the Avengers fighting each other, and this one looks like more of the same. From this viewpoint, it does look like a classic case of padding. I'm kinda hoping its more of a do-over, making up for the rather clumsy way the heroes are brought together in this first movie (that I loved in spite of its shambles of a plot).

I think the biggest problem with these Marvel movies is that the villains are so bland, and the writers are forced to have the heroes fight each other just to keep things interesting. Ultron doesn't inspire confidence that he'll be any different, but if this movie serves the concept of the heroes teaming up better than the last one, I think it will be ok.

the villains have definitely been the weak link so far. I like Loki in thor, but he was not a convincing foil for the entirety of the avengers.

I think James Spader's voice acting sounds great, though

And Joey, make sure you see Guardians when it comes out on DVD.

thinking on this a bit, I think I am more excited for the fact that this movie exists and is coming out (given how much i loved the first one, and my general affection for the MCU), more than anything I saw in the trailer (other than Spader)

Random thoughts..

I'm thinking the hulk buster fight is there to set up a planet hulk movie.. either that or its actually ultron hacking into and controlling tonys armor..

will an infinity gem have something to do with ultrons evolution??

I'm wondering if the scrap metal robot that ultron is holding will end up being the vision

Does black panther finally make an apperance??

Who isn't he just called Panther?

So something breaks cap's shield and they need to rebuild it? That'd be a good way to establish ultron's power

I don't know what Civil War entails other than Captain America and Iron Man fighting over... is it Spider-Man? Are they gonna be able to do that?

Also, Chris Evans said he was done after 3 Cap movies and 3 Avengers movies. Does another actor take over? Or does another Character step into the Shield?
