Since I'm about to take on the Kansas City Juggernauts, I thought it would be a good time to update the lineup.

3 James Edward "Tip" O'Neill LF
4 Rogers "the Rajah" Hornsby 2B

6 Joe "Ducky" Medwick RF
7 Joe "El Chino" Torre SS
8 Yadier Molina C
Game 1: Silver King
Game 2: "Parisian" Bob Caruthers

Yaz has really put himself right in the middle of the Most Outstanding Player discussion, alongside Hornsby, Appling, Cleveland Shoeless Joe, Hack Wilson, & Sammy Sosa.

Re: All-Time Franchise Baseball Tournament: Day 20 RESULTS!
Man, my White Sox have a brutal stretch coming up. Indians, Mariners (yeah, they're the worst team by far, but I have to face Felix, who has been ridiculous and probably accounts for half of their wins), Red Sox, Cubs, & Yankees all in a row. They're tied for the last playoff spot right now, but they could be dead in the water by the end of the week.
Tigers-Red Sox looks like the marquee matchup tomorrow, followed by Cardinals-Cubs and then White Sox-Indians. All of those games will be big. Reds-Pirates is deceptively big too. Either one of those teams sweeping the games could give them a big boost back into middle of the race for a playoff spot.

I'm hanging on by avoiding the sweep and staying three games back, but I'm gonna need to start putting together more 2-0 days soon to stand a realistic chance. Still, can't complain about a 7-3 run out of the break.
