I think, like me, he wanted to see them meeting a cool new alien civilisation who were friendly and would come to save us and take us off this dirtball..

Dime said it was basically a blow by blow account of the film. What don't you know?
It wasn't really a play by play, just a few spoilers. I'll still see it for sure, but it is three hours and is starting to sound like it will have a Contact-esque ending, which is bullshit.

Ah. I see. I didn't read it because dime said it was super spoilerly. I want to go in with as few expectations as possible. Hopefully, I'll enjoy it... And I hope you enjoy it too, Ruddo.

Luke Skywalker is on one of the planets when they get there. Sorry to ruin it for you.

Is it Mark Hamill? Or Andy Serkis doing motion capture animation for a CGI Luke Skywalker, though?

Noticed it in the Batflicks, too. Why is this guy always cranking up the music and effects? Fucking Nolan...

Doesn't he know that the trick to success is to put Eddie way out front and center?

I was thinking about seeing this in IMAX, but:

A) I'm sure it would be WAY too loud.
b) Just saw how much extra it would cost me. No thanks.

Guess I'll watch it in 4K digital.

i read all the spoilers for this movie, and, in spite of the dubious events that are sure to transpire between reel one and the final reel, i plan to see the movie anyway

were this project to forestall the exigencies of the stap account, we'd all be less worse for phenomenology's wear
