Actually, they're B&N 50% sale is the cheapest way to buy Criterions. I never buy them any other way. The normal MSRP of a Criterion Blu is $39.99. I recently downloaded Dumb and Dumber and apparently I made the mistake of downloading some sort of extended version. It was horrible. It totally changed the tone of the movie for the worse.

I deleted it and hope to forget it as soon as possible.

Yes, that extended version is horrible and totally changes the innocent, naive tone of the movie, which is crucial to why I love it.

I only ever bought the one: Pierrot le fou, and only that because I heard they were going to stop printing it (and they did). I only have it on DVD, though, not Blu-Ray.
