Shocked that they murdered us AGAIN. I wasn't predicting a Husky win but damn.

That offense is nasty when it's firing on all cylinders.Bammer wrote:Ha! No. I rarely gamble. Staying out west Stanford at 4-3 is a surprise. They still have Oregon and UCLA. It's be crazy if they lost 5-6 games.

I'd be cautious about Jameis right now if I were an FSU fan.jwfocker wrote:Get in Line. 23 straight wins. All the hate just makes every win that much sweeter.verb_to_trust wrote:God I hate Jameis

If the big 10 has even one team in the top 4 it's a travesty. That conference is a complete joke this year

The Spartans are decent... at least on par with some of the more average SEC teams this year...

I agree, I like watching them play, I do think they will handle Ohio State and I guess they rematch Nebraska in the title game. I made that statement after watching tOSU play Penn State Saturday Night. I think the Spartans are good but not quite as good as last year, and I just don't see them being one of the 4 best teams in the country at the end.

They're probably still better than Notre Dame, and both teams have a pretty decent shot at running the tables now.Electromatic wrote:verb_to_trust wrote:The Spartans are decent... at least on par with some of the more average SEC teams this year...

Time to party this Halloween?Chris_H_2 wrote:I think the only way that they attract a quality coach like Harbaugh (Jim or John) is if (and I know I sound like a broke record) they also fire the AD Brandon. Meanwhile, in Tuscon, the guy they ran out of town 4 years ago is thriving.

I'd love to see Meechigan get Harbaugh but I don't see it. Why leave SF? Unless he is getting forced out which would be stupid. Three straight conference title games? Why make a change if you are SF?
I think Dan Mullen makes sense for UM.

Because the reports tend to suggest that Harbaugh isn't comfortable being subordinate to a GM. If that's the case, he belongs in college instead of the NFL, and Michigan is a prime destination in college.BigRedLedbetter wrote:I'd love to see Meechigan get Harbaugh but I don't see it. Re: 2014 College Football Season
That is a good point. No GM telling you what to do. Why live in Michigan when you can live in No Cal (where he is from, people forget that) though? Harbaugh didn't go to Stanford because they had Elway. Who knows. He is in a situation where he can do whatever he wants.Green Habit wrote:Because the reports tend to suggest that Harbaugh isn't comfortable being subordinate to a GM. Yes the NFL is swell and all but if I was big time coach (Saban or an equivalent) I'd wanna stay at a college. In the NFL if you have a bad year or two you are gone. Last year and even this year everyone is blowing their top over Chip Kelly. Let's say Philly tanks the second half this year and goes like 6-10 next year. He is probably gone. The NFL is a cutthroat business yes but it's to the point of overkill. No patience whatsoever. It's a little better at least at big time college programs.
