You have the easiest schedule left of any team in the race. You should still easily get a bye.

I feel vindicated for wanting the real Royals to lose the World Series as badly as I did right about now.

I often think back to the very first post made after I started the thread that ultimately became the Post-Strike Baseball Tournament and kicked this whole chapter of RM off...

There's just something about the Giants that I really like. I think it's because they are basically going against every player evaluation and acquisition trend in baseball and winning the World Series all the time.

I'd like to see the A's, Braves, and Brewers represented next year. Dodgers and Giants too.

Huge sweep for the Cubbies! Game 2 may have been the most intense game of their season. Sosa a 2 out 3 - run HR in the bottom of the 8th to put them ahead. And then Randy Myers getting out of a bases loaded jam in the 9th to hold onto victory. Wow!

I'd definitely be up for taking on a second team if this is done again in the future.

Despite having an ex Husker and being a close team (3 hours away) I found myself rooting for the Giants in game 7 more so then the Royals. Plus I love Tim Hudson so it was hard to root against him. SOOOOO many people jumped on the bandwagon around here. It was sick. I went to Target last night with the kiddo to pick up a few things and they had a shit ton of Royals stuff. I have lived here my whole life and never seen something Royals at Target. Fucking lame.

That being said I thought my All time Royals were done a few times but they keep finding a way.
