LOL comparing Eddie and Darius.
I actually like Hootie. Their first few albums are fun. Everything after Musical Chairs was bad though minus the song Innocence. Also, some of Darius's solo stuff is fun. Wagon Wheel and True Believers are catchy as fuck. I saw him live last summer and it was really entertaining.
Come at me.

Soulfly - a metal band - dissed Hootie and the Blowfish by name in their song "No".
The words "Hootie and the Blowfish " are actually spoken in a metal song.

Sleeper Agent's Celabrasion contains progressions and melodies that have been beaten into the ground, but I still enjoy the hell out every listen.

Songs that name check random bands might deserve its own thread. Any song that rhymes Phil Collins with Henry Rollins is okay in my book.

Is it bad to admit that I've never listened to a Dylan album?

Yes.
Unpopular Music Opinion as far as RM is concerned:
Mynabirds are overrated. I respect chuds efforts but the fact that thread is longer than the Replacements thread makes me Sadstrat.

I like them, but the level of adoration in that thread is a little much.

Joey spends so much of his time expressing a love of various things that it almost becomes background noise when he praises something, anyway.

I guess he's sort of a Red Mosquito Jimmy Fallon.
