Thanks. I guess I'll wait and see how desperate I am to have a real shot at winning when the next time we do this comes around. If I'm confident in my White Sox I might just run with them again.

So much 1992 Cal Eldred.
The Argonaut wrote:Lament, please start Cano at 2B instead of Stirnweiss and Berra at C instead of Howard in both my games tomorrow.
Got it. I was impressed with your managerial skills when Cano hit the go-ahead homer the day you put him in the lineup.
EJ wrote:Seems almost unfair to call my team the Fam-a-lee and not let Dave Parker in the lineup.
Every time I run sims, I tell myself I want to point out that your squad has the best name of any of them. I wanted to give my team an alternate name, but I couldn't come up with anything better than the Go-Go-Sox.

So updating my Tigers spreadsheet, I got to see a lot of the random scores and stuff. I think Jorge is 4-0 against the red sox, but 0-4 against the expos.

Thanks, Commish.

I figured you'd do something like Disco Is Dead to celebrate that fateful day at Comiskey. But that wouldn't really capture the spirit of your team. You don't even have Chet Lemon on your roster. 8-)

I thought he was 3-1 against the Red Sox. Didn't we split the first series?

Can I call dibs on the Mets next year? I pretty much had a team ready to go for this tournament if we needed it, and I don't want to bother with any other team because the Mets are the only other team where Olerud is the starting first baseman.

Yeah, you can have the Mets unless someone wants them as their #1 team. Or if you want to take the Mets as your #1 and hope the Blue Jays come back as your #2.

I haven't updated my stats since the devastating collapse and sweep at the hands of the Cards on Day 24. I guess I should get on that.
