Jesus. They're not doing any better now than they did in the 90's?

What a low bar to match.

Where do I go for this (because it is not on the radio and I don't have a lot of free time to seek it out anymore)?

They pondered his question, as a funeral party may ponder a casket that is freshly placed upon its rollers

It's almost as if there has always been great music, and there has always been shitty music.

Same here - Diorama was so different to everything else going on in Australian music at the time.

VH1 was airing the 100 greatest songs of the 90s for the probably the 100th time. That series sucks me in no matter how times I've seen it…

BEDHEAD was the best band of the 90s.

Or at least one of my favorites.

I think that Aftertase is the best Helmet album by a long shot.

That's an interesting thought. Why do you like it more than their other stuff? It definitely marks a shift in "feel" for them.

might have something to do with the production, but it's also probably their least heavy/poppiest album. I don't know, for me it just totally clicks. Betty would come in second and then maybe Strap It On. Don't care for Meantime, or the new stuff, although I haven't listened to much of the new stuff. Oh, also the lyrics on Aftertaste are like my favourite lyrics ever.
