Trying not to get too excited about the Rockets 6-0 start but hell yes, Clutch City! Not playing bad D either.

really loved the addition of Ariza, much better fit than Parsons. Howard is now healthy, and Harden playing the best he's ever played. They're scary.BigRedLedbetter wrote:Trying not to get too excited about the Rockets 6-0 start but hell yes, Clutch City! Not playing bad D either.

Haven't the Rockets had huge winning streaks before...like every other year they win 15 in a row or something?

I was kinda bummed when we lost Parsons but after we got Ariza? Much better.pnjguy wrote:really loved the addition of Ariza, much better fit than Parsons. They won their first 15 games in 93-94. Lost to the Hawks and then won the next 8 for a 23-1 start. Maybe what you are talking about?bada wrote:Haven't the Rockets had huge winning streaks before...like every other year they win 15 in a row or something?

I'm not sold on the Rockets yet. Great start to the season though.

Didn't they win like 25 in a row right before the playoffs one year while McGrady and Yao were both hurt?BigRedLedbetter wrote:They won their first 15 games in 93-94. I believe you are right. One of the more random winning streaks in basketball history.Lament wrote:Didn't they win like 25 in a row right before the playoffs one year while McGrady and Yao were both hurt?BigRedLedbetter wrote:They won their first 15 games in 93-94. This all seemed somewhat excessive for an ankle sprain. I mean I've been there it hurts but Jesus.

It's crazy how these uniforms went from embarrassing to ironic cool to people genuinely like them.klehtun wrote:these uni's make me so sad & happy at the same time
I'm loving this start to the season. Especially since, up until the last two games, they hadn't been playing their best basketball and still managed to rack up the wins. The thumping they gave Washington was impressive. Lou Williams and James Johnson are making an already good bench look scary good.

The only thing that matters is that Derrick Rose isn't sore because in 20 years that will suck if he bends over and feels an ache or something.

Davis reminds me of a young Garnett with better shot blocking abilities. I see him racking up big numbers and never winning crap til he hooks up with a couple other stars in his later years.
