Just saw these guys a fortnight ago. Jesus they take themselves seriously these days.

This is a song about pirates. :haha:
lol!

Pretty good album. I'm really glad they're making music again. I met them back in the day around the Edges of Twilight days...

This basically smokes anything ever produced in the rock/rock-related genre.

Garth Brooks - Man Against Machine.

This album is the TRUTH. Has it really been 13 years? Garth must of missed that memo. This fucker is on point. On. Point.

Beautiful stuff -- if memory serves, that's one of the few shows where they did "Positively 4th Street," right?

Have you heard the new Basement Tapes box, LMS?

Yes that's right. That and Maggie's Farm appeared in 1965 a few times but rarely in 66. And it's got a beautiful slower version of One Too Many Mornings. I went through a phase around 98-01 where I was obsessed by the 65-66 years. Not to the extent that I forked out for the Genuine 65 and 66 bootleg boxsets (I have copies now) but I traded for most of those shows. The Melbourne version of Just Like A Woman is one of my favourite Dylan performances. (btw have you read the G Marcus LARS book? Or Invisible Republic?)

Not yet on the BS box. I'm hopeful it may appear as a bday or xmas present (fat chance). Again I have the Tree With Roots on cassette which I haven't heard in a decade. tbh I haven't been on much of a Dylan kick for the last 5 years. I can't remember if I've even heard all of Tempest yet. :|
