Re: South Park
Last night started great but went down hill as they went on. I kept expecting them to go somewhere else but they never did. I liked the brief tag at the end but it was too little too late by then.

Re: South Park
Not many laugh out loud moments, but I thought it was a solid written episode. I think the bar has been set higher so far this season, so it fails in that regard.

Ha, that was my second favourite episode of the season. I wish it had all come together a bit more smartly instead of being mostly incomprehensible, but still.

agree the last episode had some issues, but ultimately such a great gag that it was good enough to carry the episode.Biff Pocoroba wrote:Last night started great but went down hill as they went on. I have friends who play magic a lot - I feel like I almost needed them to explain to me what was happeningMecca wrote:i dunno, the magic battles were greatBiff Pocoroba wrote:Another one where the Randy bits were the best part of the show.

I don't play the game and know barely anything about it. That part of the episode was too niche specific for me.Rangi Guy wrote:I have friends who play magic a lot - I feel like I almost needed them to explain to me what was happeningMecca wrote:i dunno, the magic battles were greatBiff Pocoroba wrote:Another one where the Randy bits were the best part of the show.

i played it maybe twice back in the 90s; the specifics aren't really important to itBiff Pocoroba wrote:I don't play the game and know barely anything about it. I've played some Magic in my day and was a little disappointed with the episode. Not exactly sure what they were trying to say.
