When I wrote my first novel, I just made one huge Word document. I do the same thing, basically, with my academic work (although usually I have 4-5 different Word docs with notes and stuff.
My second novel is just in a note-taking stage now (and probably will be until I finish my dissertation), and I've given Scrivener a try. It's working pretty well, but I'll know for sure when it gets much further along.

Thank you, sir. You are an officer and a gentleman, unlike the rest of these miscreants.

My e-mail notifications still aren't working. Otherwise, I would've gotten back to you sooner.

Scrivener is pretty good, though I still do way to much in a bunch of randomly named Word docs that I then have to somehow pull together during revision.

change this all
its not like its complicated
but this world can be overwhelming
Appease and ease
and let things BE
its
just so
go on and try
please and be pleased
and make this be a better place tonight
take a chance...ask "how?"
cuz you know...its up to me now.
There's plenty for all.

oh man, I'm working on a comic that is superficial and obvious to the point of banality. LV is gonna love it.

You don't have to paint all the letters individually, do you?
