Question: when cooking, do you clean up as you go or clean up everything after you're done?

I clean as circumstances allow. My first concern is the meal, but sometimes I burn the bread if I have to piss.

I'm about as type A as they come when it comes to most things, and in particular cooking. Leaving messes until the end drives me nuts.

I clean up after all prep is done and whatever is cooking when I can but food that's quick to prepare, like macaroni, I'm not going to clean up until I've finished eating and have probably smoked a cigarette after ... I don't like food that's luke warm if it's supposed to be hot.

Cleaning as you go is essential to cooking. It's what the pros do.

It certainly helps keep me sane. At least rinsing the shit is essential. My roommates do stuff like letting pancake batter harden into an indestructible crust and it is the worst.
