Between the last draft, and 3 days ago I feel like I have spent the better part of the last 3 months with at least SOME of my day devoted to it. Just whatif'd out for now.

Re: All-Time Franchise Baseball Tournament: WORLD SERIES!
Yeah, I'm kinda leaning towards waiting till after the the holidays to start the next one. These last two have gone so much better than I'd ever imagined they would. I'd hate to start burning people out. We should take a breather to appreciate how great this last one has gone. Less than three months ago we were hoping to get four people to participate in a small tournament, and now we're about to finish off a sixty game regular season (including an all-star break and end-of-season awards/leaders) with a three round postseason. We've done something pretty cool here (well, I mean, I think we have).
A bit of break where we toss around ideas for ways to possibly take the next one up a notch might be the best idea in the long run.
As an aside, I'm kicking around the idea of a small whatif football tournament. It'd be franchise-based again (so no drafting), and single elimination. I'm kinda looking at it as a way to see how feasible it would be to do another sport. I'm not sold on how well football would work, but certain things about how they present the sims make me think it could work. It'd probably only last a week or so at most.

Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, and Jim Gantner are lurking on RM, thinking to themselves "Man, I wonder what kinda damage the Brew Crew could've done if someone would've stepped up and run the squad..."

I'd do a short non draft league in April and the franchise one in the fall. I like the first name teams idea.

I'm all for a break if everyone else is. That is cool.
