But since it's over 18 would he even want to?

That's why he's asking about its age.

I imagine the inevitable human bass collapse as being a slurry, broken horn-voiced version of this....with some slight adjustments regarding his feelings about the age of the sheep.

I kind of hope PJ is at best 2 years away from their equivalent of a The Doors' Miami show.

Be sure to purchase your Pearl Jam brand "You're all a bunch of sheep" figurines, available now at the band's official website (est. 1922).

Be sure to check youtube for the video focused on Stone's face giving Ed a bitchy look and going into the Alive riff during the you're all a bunch of sheep rant.

Baa, baa, Faithful sheep,
Have you any dollars?
Yes, sir, yes, sir,
Three bags full;
One for the t-shirts,
And one for the posters,
And one for the tickets
For seven more shows.

It was November or December 1999 because it had a "hand typed note" from Eddie and a snippet of Drifting playing in the background (the song hadn't been released yet). The rest of the site was fully operational by the time Binaural was released.

I remember reading that note and thinking it was kinda dumb to be complaining about the internet during the launch of your website (I wasn't really aware of his surprisingly consistent track record of posturing in this fashion yet). I don't remember Drifting, but my high school's computer probably didn't have speakers.

Was this pearljam.com or the Sony site.

The letter was on tenclub.net. I don't think they started using pearljam.com until a few years later.

And even so, the sony site had been active for like three years already.

The domain pearljam.com was first registered in 1996:

Created on 1996-10-17
http://whois.domaintools.com/pearljam.com

Although, it may have been registered by another entity and then sold to Tenclub/PJ at a later time.

I don't know, registering a name at one point and then doing something with it 3 years later seems to be about on par for how long it takes Pearl Jam to get something done.
