I am very surprised LA Confidential did not make your list. Not only does it have great writing and characters, It has a tremendous feel to it.

I like it. It's a solid movie. But I don't love it or anything.

Whats your verdict on Quiz Show.

I've always wanted to see it, but until the recent Blu-ray, it wasn't available in its original aspect ratio, so I've never been able to see it. I still want to watch it, but I'm hesitant to blind-buy it.

Val Kilmer's performance is one of my favorites. Although the final scene with Doc and Wyatt in the hospital is terrible. They really should have just skipped the epilogue altogether.
