LoathedV, frustration at dimejinky's poor written communication skills is a hallmark of the RM experience. revel in this confusion. it just means you're seeing RM for what it really is.

it's all in good fun, dime. i'm just ribbing you, and i have no animosity toward you at all. i hope you're not truly offended. but i need something from you, and i know it may be asking a lot, but i really want you to explain your sleeping with your back uncovered situation. what is it about sleeping with your back uncovered that caused your back pain? is it the cold? is it a superstition? did something fall on your back? please, for the love of gandalf, tell us. i don't know why, but the mystery of this is driving me crazy.

All that comes to mind for me is violent, unsolicited, Australian man love. Or is it New Zealand? Ehh, what's the difference?
My pals a nurse, he said its something about lactic build up if ive been sleeping too much or not enough, or failing that, if i sleep in a cold room consistently,(and i do) and a chill gets in from not being under the duvet..my other half steals all the duvet and it got me..though my ear is killing me too and i cant turn my head right, so maybe i was in a draft..i dunno.
dime, if you are sleeping in a place that is so cold and windy you're getting muscle pain and earaches from it, you might want to like get some heat or close a window maybe

Back when my wife and I had a queen bed, we bought a King comforter to solve these problems.
