And things have come a long way since he's been gone. But now he's back and he's still the boss. Nobody does what he does. He hasn't missed a beat. He's picking up right where he left off. The new album is totally comfortable while still blazing fresh trails. The man's a revelation. His voice, his phrasing, his passion, they're all still there and in peak condition.

I wish Pearl Jam had a record this good left in them.
