Radiohead are definitely something of a white whale band for me, they haven't played Adelaide since the OK Computer tour and I was out of town when they were here then. I would've flown interstate to see them when they toured here in 2012, I had friends who did, but it fell right after our daughter was born.

I hope you get to see them someday Spenno - they really are something special in concert. They're intense, they're majestic, they bring the rock, they bring the bleepity-bloop, they are excellent musicians and (unlike some other bands) rarely make a mistake. And when they do - they get pissed at themselves (and each other):



The two times I've seen Radiohead would be in my top 5 shows by anyone ever. I was living in London in 2003 and got to see them at Earls Court (I've been spinning that boot regularly for over a decade now) and the other was Sydney 2012 - a totally different experience but just as amazing

I saw them at Bonnaroo in the pit. I was standing behind a guy with "this isn't really happening" printed on the back of his hat. It was true.

I was at the show where the live version of "Like Spinning Plates" was recorded. The effect of the 110 degree weather giving way to an intense cooling effect when the sun went down made for a hell of a night.

I've been spinning HTTT a lot lately, and I'm just noticing what an amazing song "The Gloaming" is. I love the way Yorke consecutively repeats lyrics so much; it creates this effect of the song slowly transitioning from movement to movement. It's a thick, lumbering, eerie powerhouse of a song.
