Most of the songs are pretty and all, but they don't have the momentum, the drive, the intensity that hooks me in their previous work. Even their quieter songs in the past like "Exit Music" and "Street Spirit" had an energetic thrust and darkness that pulled me in, arrested me. This album is much dreamier, more relaxed, and as a result, I skip around a lot. This kind of music just doesn't do it for me.
Faust Arp arrested me.
That's one of the worst offenders. Maybe THE worst. It's so "lite" that it's weightless. It doesn't even sound like Radiohead to me; if it weren't for Yorke's unmistakable vocals, I think it could pass for any number of faceless indie/alt/acoustic/whatever bands.

Like which ones?

Just listened to this for maybe the first time - loved it!

I think "Sail to the Moon" is great.

The only Hail to the Thief song I think is kinda weak is "Go to Sleep". I really like that album.

I have never been fond of "We Suck Young Blood" -- I like the arrangement but I find Yorke's vocals really grating, pitched too high to carry a tune that monotonous. The ominous, death-march vibe to the music makes me want some baritone, or some harmony of some kind, just something in there to add some bottom to that falsetto -- the music alone doesn't do the job. He sounds like one of those tornado alert sirens on it. "Go to Sleep" doesn't do a lot for me either but that "over my dead body" chorus is a pretty classic Thom-ism.

Apart from that I think "HTTT" has aged wonderfully -- what seemed disjointed and kind of careless at the time has silently revealed its range of powers over the years, one track at a time. I find myself surprised how often I reach for it over the Radiohead albums that in my mind are "better."

HTTT and IR are the first two albums I usually reach for these days.

Ok computer is a brilliant album but i don't think I've listened to that front to back in 5-10 years

This got me listening to In Rainbows again. Fuck, what an album-- from the compositions themselves to the lush arrangements and the loose, confident performances, it's sheer joy. Grooving on "Reckoner" right now.

Hail to the Thief is sort of the natural extension of the OK Computer Radiohead sound. Less docile than the previous two records, though I love both of those on their own merits. I just prefer a bit of tension and the full band sound in my favorite Radiohead songs.

It's not that people don't like it. Just that it feels redundant and unnecessary.
