Also, if I were going to design a light saber, I'd definitely add those cross things to protect my hands. It's only practical!

As someone who doesn't give a shit about Star Wars, what exactly is the appeal of ninety storyless seconds that contain nothing but Star Wars pictures and Star Wars sounds?

I'm all for renaming this 'A new hope II'...

speaks to the content and the expectations of it.

Quite simply, it was a good choice of sounds and images.

It's a fan-made film..with approval and a big budget. Professional naysayers are always gonna whine, i don't see this being anything other than an exciting well made Star Wars film.

It already surpassed the prequels in quality?

I'm a little optimistic, because it actually looks like Star Wars, but it also looks somewhat different. The ship battles over land/water look kind of cool.

Although, December 2015? It must take a year to add all those lenses flares.

I just showed my boys. They loved it. Their main reactions: they laughed at the ball droid, they gasped/whoa at the tri-lightsaber, my youngest almost shit a brick when the Millennium Falcon appeared.

Really, it did exactly what the prequel previews did....show a lot of flashy effects shots and let you assume the best. And, like the prequels, it
