I guess I'm still struggling to understand what you think Star Wars is and/or should be, McP.

JJ Abrams made a Star Trek movie that's TOO MUCH like Star Wars. Now JJ has made a Star Wars movie that's.... TOO MUCH like Star Wars?

Just hate it and move on, man. You've clearly already decided that it's a piece of shit.

I have next to zero interest in Star Wars anymore and I thought that was a fun trailer. Whatever.

I think it's weird. But I also think it's cool to see something different. I don't know. I like when people try to expand on what's known. I'm also a really big fan of the double-sided saber that Exar Kun (then Darth Maal) carried. I'll wait to see the backstory and how it's used before I cast my final judgement. But I don't hate it right now. But it is weird.

But maybe that's part of the point. It's clearly not a well made saber. Hopefully, that's on purpose.

I already like it because it has the look of the original trilogy as opposed to looking pixelated to all hell.
