The limited time Honey Wheat pretzel Auntie Anne's had earlier this year was sensational.

I have been known from time to time to use these pretzels instead of bread when making a sandwich.Self wrote:Sometimes, we get one of those frozen bags of pretzels. A little water, a sprinkle of the provided salt flakes, and 30 seconds per in the mic. I use salsa con queso for cheese. So good.

Re: Pretzels: A Pretzel Thread
If would buy one from a street vendor. But make sure you don't buy it from one who is selling anything other than pretzels. The ones who are selling pretzels alongside burgers or hot dogs or whatever else tend to keep them all in the same place to keep them warm and they'll take on so much of the smoked smell of whatever else he's selling that it adversely affects the pretzel.

I have little to no desire to go to NYC but if I ever do I'm sure the hot dog and pretzel vendors will get a shit ton of my cash.

I've honestly always been fairly disappointed with NYC's pretzel scene. Philadelphia's destroys it.

I had an amazing bagel in Chicago in 2003. It was a few blocks from Wrigley.Lament wrote:NYC's bagels though? So amazing.

I struggle to remember what kind of beer I had Wednesday night. Fuck I don't remember. It was very intense. Like the soup Nazi from Seinfeld intense. Delicious though. I bought one for the road. Pretty sure that was the game Prior was scratched and I was sad.Lament wrote:Was it a cozy little neighborhood shop called "Einstein's"?

i am hereby announcing my hatred of pretzels--soft and hard. if i want to make myself thirsty and feel like garbage, i'll just not drink water and then eat a hundred communion wafers.
