Why would anyone complain about the colour of his skin? If he was cloned - apparently it was off this guy...Sgt. Crackpot wrote:http://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/sci/star-wars-force-awakens-john-boyega-responds-hateful-comments.html

Would have been an epic troll if the whole teaser was just that first shot of the black stormtrooper.

Ah ... I see. Well, as long as the trilogy is consistent, I don't see how it matters much.LoathedVermin72 wrote:B wrote:As weird as the original trilogy?LoathedVermin72 wrote:Has anyone ever said why Abrams is only doing the first installment of the trilogy? Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Id only be worried because it feels like the Star Wars universe/franchise etc is fragile. If Abrams knocks it out of the park I would want him on board throughout.

Revenge is so far ahead of the other prequels it's not funny.

Ugh, I hate that melodramatic, emo crap. Clones was bad, but that shit was unbearable, laughable.zeb wrote:Revenge is so far ahead of the other prequels it's not funny.

Hayden Christiansen gave one of the worst acting performances in the history of acting in the two he was in. His acting made Jar-jar Binks tolerable.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)
The whole Anakin character gave me the shits. I know he was meant to come across as a whiney little shit as it's integral to the storyline of his path to the dark side, but having that kind of person central to 3 movies is just too much.
I really hope there are no stupid whiney characters in the new trilogy, if there are I hope they are killed off swiftly.

i find it difficult to hate or love 88 seconds of cryptic material. those of you who have strong opinions about this trailer: care you explain how that's possible?

yeah Anakin was a very whinny character. There was a very good movie there, and Lucas blew it. Even if i like those prequels, they should and could have been better movies.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)
I agree for the most part. Anakin's character should have been really developed and played out, and the prequels really should have been more character driven. I personally would have really like to see a lot of meaningful scenes between Obi-wan and Anikan. Not just them fighting together in the Clone Wars (how they didn't show this, and left it up to cartoons is beyond me), but master / learner and father / son type scenes. Maybe these scenes could be in an actual location too, instead of some weird city planet with millions of flying cars constantly going by.VinylGuy wrote:yeah Anakin was a very whinny character. There is just so much to pick apart about the prequels, I don't even know where to start.
As for the new teaser, it looks promising...
