I think if you look back over the last few pages you'll see several people telling you exactly why it's possible.

I love reading peoples thoughts on the new trailer. i love scouring the internet for something new about star wars. I love draining this trailer of all its worth.

This is the equivalent of hearing 12 non-consecutive notes of a new song and claiming to be able to make a sound judgment on it.

I dont think anyone is claiming to make any sound judgements on any of this nonsense. its just fun and games speculating until Mcp gets hurt.

I've definitely heard people (not just on RM) saying stuff like "see! the new star wars is going to be awesome! just watch the trailer!"

Hi, welcome to the internet, chud. Take a seat and stay awhile. Kick your pumas off and lets toss out dramatic revelations over nonsense.

So you're agreeing with me that people are making judgments on the quality of the movie based on the trailer?

Also, hearing it IRL, not just Internet. People are going nuts over a random collection of footage that does nothing but confirm that it is in fact a Star Wars movie.

Remember when Fox teased us with the Fixer during a baseball game?

You're right, it could be Spaceballs II: The Search for More Money.

You can always tell when Pete's smoking more pot based entirely on Mel Brooks mentions.

I have no idea if the movie will be any good. But I do think it's a good trailer. And it struck an emotional chord, which may be nothing more than asic Hollywood manipulation, but there it is. It has me more excited about the movie than I had been previously, as it has me chomping to see MORE footage of what I hope will be a good movie.

But the trailer doesn't mean the movie will be good. Only that JJ & Co know how to make a good teaser. That's all.
