Have you seen her live before, Argo? If not you totally HAVE to go. She's amazing in concert.

I have not seen her. But yeah, I'd like to. She is pretty much my favorite right now.

Seriously dude, her performances are fantastic. Militantly meticulous, and sexy as hell.

I don't know. I think I might prefer the pre-David-Byrne style to the post-David-Byrne choreographed style

Holding out hope for a Lolla sideshow. Nothing announced yet.

I was talking to this woman at City Winery last night. She mentioned her 18 year old daughter loves this stuff. She doesn't have grey hair, I asked.

I heard Count today from her EP - Ratsliveonnoevilstar. I've never heard any of that stuff before. If anybody has it and would be kind enough to pass it along, I'd sure appreciate a PM.

Very happy to have gotten the 10" (pink vinyl!) on Friday. I have # 4800 of 5000. Both songs a great but definitely didn't belong on the album. The only St. Vincent vinyl I'm missing now is Strange Mercy, which somehow no one in Portland seems to ever have in stock.

Also, I have never heard the Rats.... EP either. If anyone has it, hook it up?

This is exactly what I needed today. A beautiful acoustic version of Marry Me. And from the back of a van. Gorgeous.
