I dated a girl in college and somehow Thumbing My Way became the song that resonated for us. Prophetically, it didn't work out and I was the one left more upset about it.

My wife now, though, likes The Fixer (specifically because it's more upbeat perspective stands out from a pretty dark catalog), which has helped me to enjoy it more than I probably would have otherwise.

My two-year-old son, however, hews closer to my taste and tends to rock out most to Spin the Black Circle and State of Love and Trust.

I tried to explain why No Code, Yield, even Binaural might be better than Ten. I tried to be peaceful and reason but I couldn't get through. She broke up with me because I think Ten is, at best, their 4th best album.
