Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

Really digging this band Billy is putting together. Even if it's only a few shows. He has said that SP will tour in 2015. I wonder if this will be the lineup for a real tour and not just a handful of shows. For those who don't know drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine) and bassist Mark Stoermer (The Killers) will be joining SP for a few shows.

Why does he put the vocals so far up front? It sounds like he's singing over a karaoke track.

You know, though I haven't enjoyed anything he's done musically in years, there's something about the way Corgan just ceaselessly keeps plugging away that's (sort of) admirably Neil Young-esque.

Gave up hope after Oceania.

Now days I like BC the dude more than his music. I agree with a lot of his views on the music industry, society, etc. But I don't think his recent stuff is as bad as people make it out to be. Is it Siamese Dream/MCIS/Adore quality? No way. But that was an epic 3 album run.

The new album is hilariously bad. "One and All" is better than Pearl Jam's last 4 albums combined, though.

Haven't heard the new album yet but the Adore re-issue set is pretty amazing. My favorite one to date. I can see how at the time that SP fans wouldn't like it but in retrospect I think it's their best.

Tear would be a great song for U2 to cover.

Shit, I haven't even listened to any of the re-issues. Do they sound noticeably better, or is it more about the rarities that are tacked on the end?

I nver was into SP when they were big. It's all new to me but KevinDavis can probably fill you in. Every re-issue has songs on the rarities discs that are as good or better than anything on the main disc. I think if Billy wasn't such a bad interview and his music would receive more accolades than it does.

Seeing these guys in London tomorrow, really excited. Koko is an incredible venue and very small, so it should be special. Not too fussed on the new stuff but there are some nice moments. I'm going mostly for the older stuff and will tap my foot along to the new tunes and am hoping to be surprised by what they play.

I think One and All is a great song, probably better than everything from Zeitgeist and Oceania (that's not saying a lot tho, I guess)
The rest of the album really sucks.
