I really want to see this. It's no longer in theaters and Kiwi films are exceedingly difficult to acquire illegally.
For some odd reason - they've chosen to only release this on DVD - unless the blu-ray is still coming, but at this stage all you can pick up is the DVD
my housemate showed me some of this yesterday. looks great.

Thought this started out pretty well and then got so bad. Pretty much what I expected. Waste of two good leads for sure.

I love the walrus suit design because it looks fucking stupid and B movie but also kind of unsettling.

Only God Forgives. Did not care for it. Couldn't finish it, in fact. Boring. Dull. Useless. Stagnant. Full of tropes and cliches. Obvious. Usual. Uninteresting and at times painful color palette. Robotic performances.

Bummer. I was hoping for good things.

I only made it halfway through this and I pretty much never do that. I agree with everything you said.

You're one of the good ones, friend.

And this is one of maybe three movies I've ever seen in my life that I was unable to finish.

Here's a post LV won't like.

Birdman is far superior to Only God Forgives.

Pusher 2 is Nicolas Winding Refn's best, and one of my favourite of all time.

St Vincent. It had its moments, but to be honest... it kinda sucked.
