KARP's Self Titled LP has eluded me for years, I don't really really feel like shelling out $100+ for it. I hope K gets around to reissues soon.

I'd wait for reissues unless you really need original pressings for your collection.
For some albums I've even sold off expensive original pressings when I knew reissues were on their way. I did this with SP mellon collie and Soundgarden Superuknown and Down on the Upside (just need them to reissue that one now ;) )

I used them a lot more a year or two ago. Honestly, the last few times I've ordered something must-have from SSD, I ended up seeing it someone else for a comparable (or cheaper) price.

Both. One was Sun Kil Moon's "Benji," which I ordered for $34.99 thinking it wouldn't be available many other places. I've seen it at more than one local store, in many colors, for less than $30.

They're doing "mystery bundles" over at Merge Records this weekend; $18.98 for 3 LPs, $7.98 for 3 7'' records. I'm almost guaranteed to get something I already have (Mountain Goats, Arcade Fire, Destroyer, others...) but it'll be a fun treat!

thanks for pointing this out. i went ahead and ordered a lp and 7" bundle set. at the price of one record for each set, for a total of $27 for 6 releases, this seemed worth the gamble.

I'd be willing to trade if I get things I already have; stay tuned!

I've been searching for Fiona Apple's "Idler Wheel" for my wife for a little while now. It's available every so often on ebay for a ridiculous amount that I don't want to pay. I actually bought the record for my little sister when it first came out -- had I known it was gonna go out of print, I would have gotten two :?

For New England peeps: 25% off all LPs at Newbury Comics this weekend, the 6th and 7th.

Due to the wedding next weekend, I've got all of $0.00 to spend on records. Woo!

Some albums I picked up from a guy over on the 10C forum.
Not exactly the most recent releases, but these have been on my radar for a while:

New you am I limited boxset thingy..

These shows were among the best concerts I've ever seen, not from a technical aspect or anything, just the experience. Not sure if there is any fans in the house, but here it is if you are keen

One of the first things Mrs. ST said to me yesterday was: "I signed up for a Discogs account! Are you proud of me?" Very.
