Thought this started out pretty well and then got so bad. Pretty much what I expected. Waste of two good leads for sure.theplatypus wrote:That Kevin Smith movie Tusk. Pretty bad, but I really enjoyed Johnny Depp's character, as well as the use of the Fleetwood Mac song during a pivotal scene.

I love the walrus suit design because it looks fucking stupid and B movie but also kind of unsettling.

Only God Forgives. Did not care for it. Couldn't finish it, in fact. Boring. Dull. Useless. Stagnant. Full of tropes and cliches. Obvious. Usual. Uninteresting and at times painful color palette. Robotic performances.
Bummer. I was hoping for good things.

I only made it halfway through this and I pretty much never do that. I agree with everything you said.durdencommatyler wrote:Only God Forgives. Did not care for it. Couldn't finish it, in fact. And this is one of maybe three movies I've ever seen in my life that I was unable to finish.

Here's a post LV won't like.
Birdman is far superior to Only God Forgives.
Pusher 2 is Nicolas Winding Refn's best, and one of my favourite of all time.
