What did you buy? I got my two ga floor tickets for $100 each. They're going with the Metallica like stage, so pretty anywhere on the floor will be good.
I just bought regular tickets in the lower, middle section of the United Center. They were $275.00 before TM fees. Seriously, what the hell?

So they could complain about the price, apparently.

Gonna skip this tour. Don't want to sit through half a setlist comprised of new songs. Especially at $1,000 a ticket or whatever.

Am I wrong to think "This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now" is the best song on the album? Maybe the best U2 song from the last few albums?

That might be a stretch. Its one of 3 really good songs from this album though. I dig the Rolling Stones licks around the 0:37 mark of the song. Troubles, and Sleep Like A Baby Tonight are the other two that give hope for this band.

Three genuinely good new songs from a band that's been pushing for 34 years is something.

He's the guitarist for Korn - the one who left a few years back, and recently re-joined.

Sounds about right - I think I saw somewhere they we doing a tour together.
Not a Korn fan, but Brian's solo work interested me for a bit

notwithstanding your use of the word "amazeballs," i'll reply nonetheless.

your post makes me happy . . . we're headed there tonight. i'm looking forward to hearing the new songs live.
