It's a nice memory and to say I was there and all. Saw some cool things, and some awful things. But in hindsight, all the bands I saw for $150 was worth it.

Crazy to think what $150 could buy you in the 90s.

Nope. Although I have been distracted by legos all day. I may get drunk later however. Stay tuned!

Lego. It's called Lego. Even the plural is Lego. Fucking Americans, man.

Misconception. The actual fault here is I didn't specify sets or bricks (in large part, because I was doing both.) Lego has indicated that your "it's called lego" point is incorrect as well. It is a brand name (Lego as a singular) that is also used as an adjective to describe the type of bricks you are using (which is the part that is supposed to be pluralized).

So take your indignation and do some research instead of spouting off generic hipster anger points, k?

The remainder of my sons birthday Lego Sets. A Lego City Fire Station, fixing the police station he wanted repaired and the Hulk Smash Lab that Groot and a Kraang Soldier had damaged.

Consider yourself lucky that you no longer have younger kids to completely destroy the sets that you spent hours building through one 2-second tantrum.

Thats almost better. the near constant "fix this one little thing" is harder to deal with i think.

It took me about 5 sets before realizing that saving the instructions was absolutely imperative.

Oh dear lord yes. The only rules I have told them are "don't lose pieces" and "Daddy is only building this once." Knowing that when they're older, there is a good chance they'll want these things rebuilt after they destroy them.

I ppv'd both of them live... '94 was... well, Perry said it best:

"I've been up for three days. I still think I'm gonna stay up tonight. Why go to sleep when you're having a good time?"

1999 was mostly a tough watch... Rage and RHCP kicked major ass, but everything else kinda sucked.

Why go to sleep when you can just do more cocaine?
