That can't fully be the case, because I've been seeing a whole lot of those audible calls in recent years. I think as long as you don't flinch or jump you'll be OK.Peeps wrote:Tapping center and getting out of his stance (assuming) calling audible protections.Green Habit wrote:What type of movement are you referring to? Linemen can move all they want as long as they don't simulate a snap. Did you see a guard swing his arm to tap the center for a silent count on the road (as PIT was today)?Peeps wrote:also how is it that the left guard/tackle is allowed to move prior to the snap? i have noticed this a lot with the steelers and have since noticed other teams doing this.
I was under the assumption once you got set you couldn't move at all

Didn't want this to get bottom paged, so now I'll quote this as McCoy gets knocked out at the 1 and then Sproles runs it in on the next play.Green Habit wrote:Putting in "polk vulture" (no quotations) as a search on Twitter reminds me of one reason why I hate fantasy football.

I can't believe the way the Cowboys keep winning. Is this real life?

I thought they were about to shit the bed in the 3rd... the defense was starting have their occasional meltdown, but the offense kept their big boy pants on... Especially Romo and Dez... What a machine!Orpheus wrote:I can't believe the way the Cowboys keep winning. Is this real life?
Still, this is Tony Romo and the Heartbreakers... plenty of time to embarrass themselves.

The Cards have had a great run, but this is probably the end of the line for them. Pathetic running game, now the 3rd and 4th string QBs step in. They'll be lucky to gain 100 yards against the Seahawks next week. Still, Bruce Arians should be the coach of year by a landslide.

Speaking to the Denver Post after the game, defensive tackle Terrance Knighton guaranteed the Broncos would win the Super Bowl—even if they have to go through New England to get there.
“I don’t care if New England doesn’t lose again,” he said. “I don’t care where we have to play. I don’t care who our opponent is. We’re not going to be satisfied until we hoist that trophy. So if we’ve got to go to New England (in the playoffs) and win somewhere we’re not used to winning, we’re going to make it happen.”

Re: 2014 NFL Season
i beat up an eagles fan last night for kicking a cowboys fan.
granted, the cowboys fan is my best friend and got me free tickets, but its still a weird sentence to read. if i find a video of it i'll post it. or if anyone sees a random video of one eagles fan beating up another eagles fan from last night it may be me.
it was by far the best, most exciting part of last nights game.
lets go flyers!

Figures, must not be any better than the days when Eagles fans threw battery-filled snowballs at Jimmy Johnson and cheered as Mike Irvin lay motionless, paralyzed at the Vet.warehouse wrote:i beat up an eagles fan last night for kicking a cowboys fan.

it was actually awesome most of the time. people talked shit, but it was fun, and most of the time everyone made sure my buddy knew it wasnt personal. getting physical is completely different though, and i felt i had to stick up for the kid b/c he's a smaller dude, so i just kinda lost it. i didnt even get kicked out b/c people told security what happened.Iholdthepain wrote:Figures, must not be any better than the days when Eagles fans threw battery-filled snowballs at Jimmy Johnson and cheered as Mike Irvin lay motionless, paralyzed at the Vet.warehouse wrote:i beat up an eagles fan last night for kicking a cowboys fan.
