i was pleasantly surprised by acts, didnt expect it to be much more then a one or 2 listen record, but i love it, its a fun album with a lot of great songs, though i wont say it is my fav of 12, boys and girls by alabama shakes is pretty much my #1 this year, Acts is somewhere in my top 5, i should be making my list sometime next week or so.

I'm still listening to this record, it holds up really well.
Looking forward to a second record!

I really dig RNDM and the best part is I went into Acts without any expectations and was blown away! I love it when that happens!

I'd also say they possess that certain something that PJ is lacking right now.

Remember: every good joke has some element of truth to it.
I also really enjoyed RNDM and glad they are working on a follow up. I was saddened to see that they did not continue with the Tres Mts thing though with Mike fully in the band, they really were awesome together live.

Dude! Tres Mts was great! For a while it looked like they were gonna go somewhere with it. But we got RNDM which is great too. Better songwriting I think.

How do you know he's referring to RNDM?
He and Jeff have played together for over 20 years, I find it hard to believe that's the source of his woes. Surely he picks up other gigs when he's not playing with Three Fish/Tres Mtns/RNDM, etc.

Wow I had no idea they were already working on a follow-up to Acts, fucking awesome. Acts was one of the best surprises this past year--great stuff.
