I can't remember this movie at all. what was the connection?durdencommatyler wrote:I liked The Blair Witch Project. But it didn't scare me or get to me until after the fact. After the film, my friend, who was terrified by it, pointed out that I'd missed the whole connection at the end. Once she pointed it out I got freaked. So it was fun. The movie got to me in the car on the way home.

I think he's talking about when the Heather comes running downstairs and as she's panning across the room witht he camera we see Mike standing facing one of the corners of the room before she gets knocked down or whatever. Earlier in the film we're told that the witch would kill kids in twos - making on stand facing the corner of the room while she killed the first kid, and then kill the second.Dev wrote:I can't remember this movie at all. what was the connection?durdencommatyler wrote:I liked The Blair Witch Project. Yep. This. But it's not the witch, it's the serial killer right? Sorry, it's been a long time. I might be confused...Rangi Guy wrote:I think he's talking about when the Heather comes running downstairs and as she's panning across the room witht he camera we see Mike standing facing one of the corners of the room before she gets knocked down or whatever. Re: What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?
But I suppose the whole point was that it was actually the witch that killed all those kids and not Rustin Parr. But I like that the movie sort of left that up to interpretation, that is until the final shot that I was referring to.LoathedVermin72 wrote:durdencommatyler wrote:LoathedVermin72 wrote:durdencommatyler wrote:Rustin Parr, yo.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I'm pretty sure that movie never references a serial killer...durdencommatyler wrote:Yep. Re: What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?
No bullshit, the scariest movie I've ever seen was a lifetime movie called "I Know My Name Is Steven." It was a true story about a kid that got kidnapped by a child predator who kept him as his "son" until he escaped in his late teens. I was like 11 years old and I was petrified.

Re: What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?
I totally remember that movie! Actually, it was on again maybe six years ago. And I walked into the room, saw it on the TV and instantly recognized it. That's how much that thing impacted me. Almost 20 years later and I recognized some random scene. Unreal.numbers wrote:No bullshit, the scariest movie I've ever seen was a lifetime movie called "I Know My Name Is Steven." Poltergeist scared the crap out of me as a kid. Now, any movie involving demonic possessions or ghosts scare me.
The Entity was pretty messed up as well.
