This is a thread about tea and tea-related topics. After a life spent spurning tea in favor of coffee, I've been getting into drinking this stuff lately. Just got a box of Taj Mahal loose leaves and I'm loving it. Please share your tea news, observations, and opinions in this thread. Thank you.

Coincidentally, after about 2 years, I tapped into my stash of green tea today (I have a pretty nasty cold). I used to drink about 3 cups a day.

any and every tea is fair game for me, as it should be. sweet tea is merely one incarnation to enjoy, one that deserves a place at a traditional southern meal--a meal with flavors you yankees have never experienced.
