The skeleton twins.

Man, that was boring and predictable. The how to make an indie movie kinda feel....really lousy one.

I really enjoyed Foxcatcher, and would definitely recommend it.

Big Hero Six (2014)

(Is that the sign for "meh, it was ok"?)

My wife cried throughout. Tough in a theater with only 10 people watching a movie that came out months ago.

One of those movies that has been sitting in my queue for a while, Frances Ha.
It starts off as a typical indie movie; shot in black & white and following 27 year old dancer in Brooklyn who's just drifting through life. It picks up and I found myself liking it by the end, although I can't really explain why. I just did.

really liked the drop. Delivers without being heavy handed. Hardy is getting better and better.

Tried to watch Enemy. Gave up. The score is overbearing and I didn't care by about halfway through.

Watched Mel Brooks' Silent Movie last night for the first time. I expected it to be sub par Mel Brooks in the vein of To Be or Not to Be but it was really fucking funny.

Wild. A few little stumbles here and there, but I liked it a lot. I'm a sucker for these movies though.

I agree that it's bad, but the few laughs I had came from Franco being completely over-the-top. "Katy Perry is your favorite!"

The true and amazing story of the unlikely alliance between the gay rights movement in London and Welsh miners in Thatchers reign of destruction in the 80's, supporting each other against injustice.
