transferring files from one computer to another
what is the easiest way to do this? i've never participating in the cloud services on a large scale, so my files are mostly confined to the hard drive of my old computer. is there a drag-and-drop option that i can utilize as part of some sort of direct cord hook-up? or is this typically a piecemeal effort via flash drive transfers?
i've spent the past eight years with the same computer, so this is new for me.

just pour the contents of the old tower into the new one. You may have to use your hands to scoop out a few bits.

PM all files to me. I'll send them back once you get your new computer hooked up.

is there a reason that malice's idea won't work? because it sounds like the reasonable way to do this.
