Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
At the very least, Bryan coming back at least makes the rumble interesting. Before it was a lock that Reigns would win, now there is at least some question who will win.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
im sure everyone will want Bryan but i dont think Reigns winning will be anything like Batista last year, Reigns might not be quite ready but at least he isnt wanting in after 4 years off and being pushed right to the title. there might be disappointment if Bryan doesnt win but i dont think it will be like last year....but we will seenumbers wrote:Where is the rumble? Is it the kind of crowd that will shit all over everything if Reigns wins? I hope so.

I think the disappointment wouldn't have been so intense last year if Bryan had actually been in the Rumble. If they want someone to become a huge heel, all they've gotta do is have him send DB over the top. At least it would further or start a storyline.

if Bryan isnt winning the Rumble, then i hope they put him into some kind of an interesting feud, i really dont want to see him start back with Kane or Bray, but really dont know who i wanna see him fighting with.Simple Torture wrote:I think the disappointment wouldn't have been so intense last year if Bryan had actually been in the Rumble. He would be the perfect guy to get one last great match out of the undertaker.

I don't think it will be as bad as last year, but I don't think it'll get the great response they are looking for.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:im sure everyone will want Bryan but i dont think Reigns winning will be anything like Batista last year, Reigns might not be quite ready but at least he isnt wanting in after 4 years off and being pushed right to the title. there might be disappointment if Bryan doesnt win but i dont think it will be like last year....but we will seenumbers wrote:Where is the rumble? isn't the rumble in philly? i think it is. if so, i expect the crowd to be pretty vocal about how they feel. if reigns wins, i could even see garbage being thrown. that would be something.

Yes the Rumble is in Philly. If Cena or Reigns win the title or Rumble (respectively) it will be a terrible reaction. If they BOTH win? Yikes.
I dislike Reigns less than most. He is ok. I'm far from a fan though. I was ok with him winning the Rumble a few months ago. But with Bryan back now and Dolph catching even more fire I hope it's one of those two. I;m also holding out hope they do something with Cesaro. He is a legit powerhouse and they are wasting him.

I love Cesaro, but he totally fucked up that chance they gave him to cut a promo last week. I don't see him getting pushed anytime soon.

i wonder how this Firing will be handled, especially with the Push that Dolph was being given.
i doubt it will happen but i would love to see Shane come back and possibly be behind Sting showing up. maybe try to tie it into the fact that he was the one who signed the papers when WCW was bought or somehting. then have him reinstate the 3 that were fired

I read something about an angle where Edge "sues" wwe over the incident with Rollins. That would probably be how the 3 get reinstated. I'd be surprised if they aren't back in time for the Rumble.

Re: Official WWE/Pro Wrestling thread
I'm happy Booker is joining the announcing team full time. He is over the top but I find him entertaining. He was really good in 2011 during Punk's rise.
They are really selling these terminations. All 3 are in the alumni section on the website....and they said kayfabe was dead haha.
They will be back for Rumble I bet. I'm hoping Dolph wins it. It will probably be Reigns or Bryan though. If Dolph wins there can be a great Rollins v Dolph match for the title and it doesn't even need to main event. That can be the Taker match or even Sting/HHH if that rumor comes true.
Reigns does not HAVE to win the Rumble. Not with Bryan back and Dolph's emergence. Two months ago he was the only logical option but his reaction was not that great Monday. It needs to be Reigns v Rollins v Ambrose at Mania. It makes too much sense and I think it could bring the house down and really elevate all 3 of them. Reigns can go over, Rollins still keeps the briefcase and Ambrose remains in a marquee match. Everybody wins. Buuuuuut I keep thinking Cena beats Brock and Rollins at Rumble OR it's some kind of no contest and Rollins still cashes in. This is where the writers can put together something fun or it's a clusterfuck. Stay tuned.

I despise Booker T on commentary. He is THE worst, ever.

Agree to disagree. Jerry for about the last decade has been terrible and Cole is just embarrassing. JBL when he is full heel is pretty good but sometimes he gets all cheesy. I think Book does a good job of capturing a big moment. Ooh my goodness!numbers wrote:I despise Booker T on commentary. He is THE worst, ever.
Honestly I watch a lot of RAW/Smackdown/NXT on mute and listen to records.

I never said any of those guys were good, I just think Booker is the worst of the bunch.

Didn't think you did, mate.
Not sure what it is about Booker that entertains me. King needs to retire. Great run.

TBH the last good guy they had was Joey Styles, Josh Matthews was ok. Ross, in his later days, was awesome for big matches, but his shtick grew tiresome week after week. Punk was fantastic when he did it briefly. I dont know why people like JBL I think he's really annoying, not in a good way like heel Lawler either.

JBL is ok at times. Nothing consistent. When he is full heel he is much better.numbers wrote:TBH the last good guy they had was Joey Styles, Josh Matthews was ok. Styles was great. One of the tops ever. Punk was as well and Gabe Sapolsky.
