I tried to watch his show once. I couldn't stand it long enough to have an opinion.

I was watching that really enjoying it, and then I realized what I was doing, and started to feel like a fucked up person.

He's guest hosting this week and it's so fucking bad. I'm looking forward to see how Tom Lennon does later this month.

Pretty sure Carey was on drugs last night.

I only watched Monday night. Between that and when he hosted for April Fools I now know better.

Fallon is actually a great talk show host. He's super natural and the guests love him. Been pleasantly surprised watching his show when my roommates have it on.

I completely disagree, at least as an interviewer. I find him incredibly grating and difficult to watch. His giggly, nervous, overenthusiastic persona and complete inability to vamp without stumbling over his words always makes me want to switch the interview off within the first minute.

I haven't seen many of his interviews but I doubt I've seen as sycophantic an interviewer. And as Jorge said, overenthusiastic.

Yeah he giggles like a little kid during interviews. Annoying.

Whenever someone sends me a link to a sketch he did on the tonight show it's always awful.

You guys are right about his being a poor interviewer. He often reminds me of a dog, the way he stares at his guest, bounces around a lot, and all of a sudden starts talking about himself for long stretches.
That said-his interview with Nicole Kidman this week was hilarious. Apparently, she showed up at his apartment ten years ago, thinking he was cute. He had no idea, and idk it was just funny and awkward. His show has its moments, but I flick over to him only when Conan/Kimmel/Letterman are on commercials or doing something I don't like.

I thought my dog was the only one who did this.

Now that Craigy Ferg is gone, there are currently no watchable late night talk shows, as far as I'm concerned. I hope Stephen Colbert fixes that.
