12 shows in the US/Canada (Toronto, Montreal, NYC, Boston, Philly then a few southeast) centred around Bonaroo and Firefly in June or Lolla in August. Then 12 more shows in South America in October. Just a guess since they don't take full years off of touring like they used to.

Side projects? I don't care. Hopefully new music in 2016.

Eddie buys a vineyard to create PJ wine that you can buy at the shows and pass around with your friends during Crazy Mary

They need to make up for the last one. Honestly, it's the only show of the twenty some of theirs I've seen that I've left in a bad mood. Such a letdown.

Hundreds of millions of Russian citizens desperate to convert their rapidly dissolving rubles into a stable store of value log on to pearljam.com/anus/giftcards and buy up every denomination of gift card possible, including the discontinued "Boom Waiting at Jiffy Lube" series, only to find that the gift cards cannot be exchanged back for hard currency. When $30 billion in PJ gift cards are then simultaneously redeemed at a rate of $30 = 1 EV Solo show poster (street value = 1 cent), Russian consumer wealth instantly evaporates, sending the Russian central bank into a panic, prompting Vladimir Putin to invade China, and plunging the planet into nuclear war.

Those Russians that survive the nuclear winter will slowly rebuild their society and infrastructure back to internet-age standards. Triumphantly escaping from the rubble of their destroyed civilization, they will log on again in 2067 to find 113,267 emails from the PJ.com online store informing them of Black Friday Sale deals that they may have missed, including 10% off a special limited edition HoloDVD performance of Ed in his wheelchair in Boca Raton, FL drooling out of the side of his mouth and grunting what are either the lyrics to "Getaway" or a request that his nurse be called to change his bed pan.

So, has there been rumors/info on a third Ed solo album? Hadn't seen anything myself.

I haven't heard anything about it, but it really wouldn't surprise me. I'd rather a non-ukulele album though, hopefully more along the ITW style again but with longer (complete) songs.

This would make me so happy: Ed, Jack Irons, Mike Watt. Maybe Thurston Moore to up the guitar work. Produced by Jim O'Rourke.
Yes! Though I don't think Thurston would fit.

If Ed does make another solo record soon, I'd very much like to see him try something like that.

He wrote a bunch of songs for a movie and then the producer changed his mind. I'd be shocked if it wasn't released this year.

Can you believe that Alex doesn't respect Matt Cameron as a song writer?
