Portia's book set me off on a binge of books about Anorexia. Fascinating the way the brain works. Or how efficiently it malfunctions.

I'm actually still on the prologue... I just finished A Game of Thrones a few days ago. I got the first and third books for Christmas probably ten years ago and they've been sitting on a bookshelf ever since. I can't believe I but it off for so long.

yeah i heard about the books right before the tv series began...my cousin was out of college and unemployed and looking for something to read...i recommended them to him and he read them all through fairly quickly...i got the first book at that time and read it, but realized i didn't have time to commit to the series...i reread it again and got copies of the other books for christmas, so i'm hoping to knock them all out this spring

i'm a little over halfway through a clash of kings, but hope to put a big dent in it tomorrow

When I got the two books, I knew absolutely nothing about them, and even though I usually enjoy the genre I just never gave them a chance. It wasn't until the show started and I heard people talking about it that I thought "That sounds pretty awesome" and started reading. I still haven't seen an episode of the show, but based on what I know about it there were a couple of huge surprised in the first book that really caught me off guard.

I haven't read 10:04 yet (too poor for hardcover) but Lerner's first novel was awesome. Really looking forward to this one.

Found a book by Joseph Delaney called The Last Apprentice:revenge of the witch, and apparently its being made into a movie. Fun read, probably young adult fiction, it was very easy to read despite being a bit gorey in places..apparently there are about ten in the series so i'll definitely be reading the others. Recommend them if you want something easy but well written.

Just got it on Kindle. Finishing Murakami's Wind Up Bird Chronicles first though.
