HI everyone,

Great announcement: thanks to all Pearl Jam fans during december, Pearl Jam wins the award of the "MOST DEDICATED FAN BASE"
Even if it was not necessary to prove it: we're the best fans ever :D

By the Way, I just watched this Pearl Jam concert video and I loved it: hope you"ll like it too! :nice:

Research shows that a little known band called American Coat Closet that existed for several weeks in 1998 has the least dedicated fanbase in recent years. They had one gig in August of '98, which was attended by six people (mostly the band members' parents), all of whom left mid-gig when the singer foolishly announced that it was Customer Appreciation Day at Papa John's. The band finished the show but disbanded the next day, and the singer killed himself several weeks later.

I remain confident something worthwhile will rise from the ashes of American Coat Closet, so I've kept my fan club membership alive. I did downgrade to digital, though

I always read that as surflaced, as well, but you could definitely make a case for surfcaced.

35 shows. Canada, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Florida, California, Washington State. I'll accept the award on behalf of us all. Shit, most of the people who post here hate this band, yet they continue to post on a Pearl Jam message board when, I'm guessing, they're not posting on Tom Waits or Fuck the Foo Fighters message boards. It's all dedication.

The more I think about this, the more I'm convinced it's true. I was watching a video of the Leeds show where the guy took a bunch of youtube videos and synched em to the boot. It looked like a freakin' proshot video. I'm benefitting by watching but jesus christ, what does that guy do for a living where he has time for that?

After I watched I wanted to watch something like that from the 2012 Crazy Horse tour and found nothing even close (and as good as that Leeds show was, the Crazy Horse tour is far more deserving of that dedication).
