Everything's meh once you've had prosciutto di parma, black label. Bufalo mozz, little EVO, good bread. Done.

Where's your Italian deli of choice in the Chicagoland area?

I honestly just make my own sandwiches since the ingredients are so available now. But you can't go wrong with a Mariano's. They have everything you want and they make sandwiches too. When I was younger I used to work in Norridge, so I used to go to the many mom and pop deli's on Harlem Ave. All were very good. Rex on Harlem was just on Triple D's last week.

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Stop into Ben's Chili Bowl and order a chili half smoke, a half pork and beef smoked sausage served on a warm steamed bun with mustard, onions, and spicy homemade chili sauce. It's what Bill Cosby orders when he comes here.

They may want to take that one back, and find another sandwich place. Bedsides, Ben's is pretty good, but kinda overrated, and overpriced.

Just finished a Ham Sandwich. Lately I've been putting the sweet pickles on my sandwich. I've never really liked them, but felt like giving them another chance, and my mind is changing. They go well with ham / cheddar / and some hot sauce + mayo mix.

Lately I've been using the length-sliced bread and butter pickles with my roast beef and havarti, mayo and grey poupon

I've been eating lots of turkey and roast beef sandwiches lately. Makes for a great lunch.

Jimmy John's today was meh.

Not the best $11 I've ever spent.

The pickles are better than the sandwiches.
