Vitalogy book

Post by wtfisaledbetter? »

I bought one of these at an antique store over the weekend, I've heard about it but never seen one so I grabbed it. 1926 edition and full of some pretty crazy stuff.Image

It's an interesting read for sure. I have this at home somewhere

I have a copy of the book that I bought at an antique shop about 10 years ago. A bunch of the images in the album sleeve are directly taken from the book (which I'm sure people already know).

I always assumed the concept art was based generally on old medical books. But I never knew it was modelled exactly after a real and specific medical book, text and all.

I have a paperback copy from 1995. I bought it right after I got the album. I'd LOVE to track down an old hardback edition though like the OP. The book is absurd and sometimes borderline offensive. But it would be great to have an old dusty original edition.

I will say that I never noticed the author before. Am I an idiot? Is that where Ruddo got his screen name? Am I JUST now realizing this?

No, until about a month ago I thought that was Ruddocks real name.
